The following day, the group was shuttled back to the airport for their rescheduled flight to Philadelphia. However, once again, the flight was overbooked, and American Airlines was seeking volunteers to stay another night in exchange for $1,200 in vouchers. Berry, realizing the potential to accumulate more vouchers, eagerly accepted the offer, setting in motion a series of extended stays and accumulating a total of $3,550 in travel credits.
