Celestyal Cruises has recently announced the launch of a new functionality for its trade portal, aimed at enhancing the booking experience for its travel agent partners. This new tool will allow travel agents to book cruises and land packages for their clients directly through Celestyal’s trade booking system. In addition to cruise bookings, agents will also have the ability to book pre- and post-cruise hotel stays and land transfers for their clients.
According to Celestyal, all hotels offered through this new functionality are four-star and above, ensuring a high level of quality and comfort for travelers. Private transfers to and from the airport, hotel, and port are also available, adding an extra layer of convenience and luxury to the overall travel experience.
Brandon Townsley, Celestyal’s Vice President and Managing Director North America, expressed excitement about the new tool, stating, “We’re thrilled to introduce this new tool allowing our trade partners to offer even more comprehensive and personalized experiences for their clients. By allowing agents to seamlessly book cruise and land packages, including high-quality hotel stays and private transfers, we’re enhancing the overall value and convenience of the Celestyal experience.”
The new service is currently available for a selection of 2024 and 2025 sailings departing from Athens, including popular itineraries such as the “Iconic Aegean,” “Idyllic Aegean,” “Steps of Paul,” and the upcoming “Heavenly Adriatic” cruises. Celestyal has plans to expand this offering to include its new itineraries in the Arabian Gulf in the near future.
In addition to the new functionality for travel agents, Celestyal Cruises has recently completed a full fleet upgrade in 2024, introducing two new ships to its lineup. The Celestyal Discovery, built in 2003, and the Celestyal Journey, built in 1993, now offer guests a modern and comfortable cruising experience. The company is also set to expand its deployment with the introduction of new itineraries in the Middle East, marking its debut in the region.
The Celestyal Journey will offer a seven-night itinerary in the Arabian Gulf named “Desert Days,” while the Discovery will join the lineup for the 2025-26 winter season, sailing to destinations in the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Bahrain, and more. This expansion into the Middle East reflects Celestyal’s commitment to providing diverse and exciting travel experiences for its guests, further solidifying its position as a leading cruise line in the industry.
