The football players and cheerleaders engaged in a variety of activities with the residents, including bowling on the Nintendo Wii, cornhole, shuffleboard, pushups, and a hot dog eating contest. This year marked the 15th visit of Coach Mike Grant’s Eagles football team to The Waters, showcasing the long-standing bond between the team and the senior living community. While the rain may have disrupted the touch football tradition of previous years, the Eagles football team is currently in practice for the upcoming 2024 season. Fans can catch a glimpse of the team in action during a pre-season controlled scrimmage at Aerie Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 24, with free admission for all. The Eagles’ first regular season game will take place on the road at Buffalo on Thursday, Aug. 29.
