The city of Dunkirk is gearing up for another exciting evening of live music as the Music on the Pier Summer Concert Series continues with Country Night at Memorial Park. The event, sponsored by Community Bank and The Resource Center, is set to feature two talented acts – OsbornNash and the Tim Britt Band.
Kicking off the evening at 5:25 p.m. will be OsbornNash, an acoustic duo hailing from Western New York and Nashville, Tenn. Comprised of Bob Campbell-Nash and Liz Osborn, the duo’s performances are known for their blend of original and cover material that spans genres such as country, Americana, folk, and pop. With a unique style that incorporates elements of jazz and rock, OsbornNash has captivated audiences with their engaging and dynamic performances.
Following OsbornNash, the headliner for the evening will be the Tim Britt Band, a modern/alternative/folk group based out of Buffalo, NY. Fronted by singer, guitarist, and songwriter Tim Britt, the band was formed in 2015 as an expansion of Britt’s successful solo career. Joined by seasoned Buffalo musicians Gerald Michael, Evan Laedke, and Damone Jackson, the Tim Britt Band brings a fresh and innovative approach to their music, blending their diverse musical backgrounds to create a sound that is both familiar and unique.
The Tim Britt Band’s performances are known for their infectious energy and catchy originals, as well as their fresh takes on classic songs. With a repertoire that spans blues, new wave, funk, disco, soul, and pop, the band promises an evening of music that will appeal to a wide range of musical tastes.
In addition to the live music, concert-goers can look forward to a variety of food and beverage vendors on site, as well as the city’s beverage tent. The Dunkirk Boardwalk Marketplace and surrounding businesses will also be open, providing guests with the opportunity to explore and support local businesses.
